This is the first post on this page, so i thought I would start around with the history, for those of you who needs it so much...
Erik and Pål were big fans of a game called gitaroo man. This is a music game, where you play to survive. In this game, there were a song who went quiet and nice called "Legendary theme"... anyway, pål and erik was playing that particulary song a friday morning at the musicclass on Sommerlyst. Petter also liked the game, and he too had learned the tabs for the song, so he sat down beside them and joined them in their guitarplaying. They then decided to start a band, but since none of them were any good at the drums, they talked to Martin who apperantly liked playing the drums. After a few suggestions, they (petter) thought of the name Fantastic four, and since no one had a better name, they took it.
After that, they have had four band practices. Martin keeps pouring out new songs we "have" to play, Pål keeps saying he is not in the band, Erik can't decide between bass or guitar and Petter is having a hard time, trying to actually learn to play the guitar...
The bandname has been changed many times during their "career"... As said, it started out with Petters suggestion, Fantastic four, but the title seemed kind of lame considering that it is already a cartoontitle (Maybe that's why he chose it????) and that there is a band called "Der fantastiken vier"... Right now, they have stopped a while at "Plastic eagles"... don't ask why...
Friday the 29th, Martin and Petter are meeting at petter's place to play a little, and decide songs for the next rehersal (September 2006???)
